We'd imagined something more... staged, I think. More postcard. What we got instead was layered. Dusty in places. Crowded in places. Completely still in others. The travel package of Rajasthan took us somewhere between the tourist trail and something that felt more like real life — and that tension, honestly, is what made it interesting. I don't think I'd want it more polished. The rough parts mattered.
