The board of directors has identified PFAS compliance management under TSCA Section 8(a)(7) as a critical issue which affects all manufacturing operations and import activities and worldwide supply chain activities. The regulation requires companies to track more than 12000 PFAS compounds during a 12-year period which creates severe financial and operational and reputational threats to their business activities. The organization reached a point where it needs to stop using manual compliance processes which include spreadsheets and uncoordinated supplier contact methods and separate system operations. The identification of PFAS requires two processes which involve creating structural definitions and obtaining actual historical data while operating international supplier systems and preparing documentation for audits.
