The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) introduced its latest regulatory measure which creates a significant new requirement that manufacturers must follow to conduct business in European Union markets. The REACH Annex XIV Authorisation List will include four substances which include Bumetrizole (UV-326), Octrizole (UV-329), Triphenyl Phosphate, and Photoinitiator 379 that will create product formulation restrictions and supply chain limitations which will affect market access for an extended period. Executive leaders need to consider more than just the latest regulatory changes.
