A Sterile Processing Technician is one of healthcare's most overlooked yet essential professionals, helping ensure that surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, inspected, assembled, and ready for patient care. Unlike many healthcare careers that require years of education, sterile processing training can often be completed in about 6–8 months, allowing students to enter the workforce much sooner.
